Day One - Micah 6:1-8(NLT)
God has shown His people faithful and merciful love (v. 1-5)
But they have not recognized and loved His love (mercy, faithfulness) in their lives (v. 3)
v. 6-7 is a cry - how can things be made right? Is there something we can do? It is also a misunderstanding of what God wants - a desire to follow rules and the appearance of worship.
v. 8 is God's answer - He has already told His people what is good - to do right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with their God.
The proper response to God's merciful love in our lives is Micah 6:8. Tie in that this comes as we experience God's mercy through Jesus and walk in the Spirit He has given.
