			Today's Devotional: Many times we read the scriptures and agree, but how can we truthfully live it out when we are done reading? The Psalmist is asking God for an understanding and obedience to His instructions so that he can put them into practice with all of his heart. As we seek to live out His word, it is the Holy Spirit who will empower us to understand His heart and to walk in His ways. It is also the Spirit who helps us to turn away from worthless things and wrong ways, so that we may find freedom and life through His word. Responding to the Transmitted Message: Let's continue to ask the Lord to teach us His ways. Pray for His empowering so that we can put His word into practice with all of our hearts.
