1 John 2:3-6 (NLT) – “And we can be sure that we know him if we obey his commandments. If someone claims, “I know God,” but doesn’t obey God’s commandments, that person is a liar and is not living in the truth. But those who obey God’s word truly show how completely they love him. That is how we know we are living in him. Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did."
Today's Devotional:
Jesus lived a life of perfect love and obedience to the Father. He set the example for us, and many lives were healed and changed as a result. As we are his followers, we too are called to a life of love and obedience. We cannot claim to love God without obeying His word, and to keep His word means not only obedience to what is written, but a desire to do what we know would please Him. As we seek to live a life of obedience to God's word, let's continue to grow in a deeper passionate relationship with Him.
